So, my Koni's are done and I should have them back this week (to bad I am leaving on vacation). I went ahead and bought the Koni sleeve kit to go along with the shocks. I currently have one of the DFW Prelude guys fabbing me up a set of spring isolators to go on top of the spring. No one offers aftermarket top hats for the Prelude, so you must use the factory ones. The factory rubbers tear and if I would have gone with Ground Control, their polyurethane ones tear as well. So this should cover that.

As for springs, I went off the DFW guys suggestion to get Hypercoil. Regardless of his suggestion, I was going to go with Eibachs, until I found pairs of used 850, 900, 950, and 1000 lbs Hypercoil springs on eBay. Before you say I am an idiot, I paid $120 for all of them shipped and they are coming from Lock Race Works in Georgia. http://www.lockraceworks.com/index.html

If any of you are thinking of trying new springs out. Do an eBay search for either lockraceworks or the spring (ex. eibach race spring). They have used Eibachs for around $32 each.

Hypercoil is a good spring, just not as common as Eibach Race Springs are with amateurs.

Those shocks aren't being shortened? The DFW guy can't fab up some modified OEM top hats?

the fronts were shortened, and he probably could make top hats, I would just assume that would take a lot more time. you may know him, Billy Howell in the white H2 Prelude.

You wouldn't want top hats if the shocks are shortened, anyway.

Oh, and I try to avoid those Prelude guys. They're a little Gay if ya know what I mean.
